One of my absolute favourite things to do on a grey, winter’s day in London is to go antiques and vintage rummaging in Notting Hill

I love it especially on Saturdays with all the bustle of the market outside all the colourful buildings on Portobello road – you (almost) forget how cold and grey it is. For post-rummaging nibbles there are tonnes of brunch places but one of my all-time favourite’s is cosy Mike’s cafe’ – their pancakes with blueberries and ice-cream are amazing and huge, which is good, because you’ll want a lot of them

p.s. Sorry about the poor quality photos..I used my Nikon D90 as always but they seem to have become corrupted when I uploaded them for some reason..any ideas why?
